1984 Honda VT700C Shadow Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project
This big old 1984 Honda VT700C has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Indicators and ignition key being the most obvious. The paint in non-standard, there is a dent in the right hand side of the tank, the seat cover is torn and the glass is broken on the tachometer.
The wheels are straight but the chrome rims are rust kissed. The forks and yokes look straight with good chrome. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl but the rim has taken a knock. The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. Both mud guards are straight.. The standard exhaust is soli but dented and has some scrapes.
The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running & revving on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
